The ‘new’ anti-Semitism
The ‘new’ anti-SemitismIn a lecture for Sky Arts broadcast last month, the Chief Rabbi Sir Jonathan Sacks spoke of the new anti-Semitism that is resurgent in these isles and across Western Europe. Open Question: which joke do you like better? (rude-ish)?
there was a young man playing at a local golf course and since he was on his own he invited the guy behind him if he wanted to play. after much talking, the man told him that he was a undercover hitman and he had his own sniper in his golf bag. when the young man had a look through the scope he saw his house, so he looked through the window to see his wife, only to find her sha99ing the neighbor. the young man turned to the hitman and told him to shoot his neighbor in the c0ck and his lying wife in the mouth. the hitman told him he earned £1000 every time he pulled the trigger. the young man agreed. after a while the young man said whats wrong ? why are you taking so long? the hitman replied Quiet! im trying to save you £1000!
there is a man about a thousand years ago who had a beautiful wife and he was about to go on the crusades. to know for sure she wasnt going to have sex while he was gone, he applied a special belt to his wife that made it impossible to have sex. he locked it and gave the key to his most trusted friend. while he was a few days gone the friend rushed up to him and said ‘wait, you didnt give me the right key!)
hint on the second joke: how did he know?

Time to find a better way to start the season (Miami Herald)
With awards season upon us, I thought a good metaphor would be this: Winners-only tournaments are the golf equivalent of Oscar goodie bags.

Open Question: Is this a full set of golf clubs?
I have the following set, but am a bit worried there are a few ‘gaps’ in terms of distances. Should I invest in another wood to bridge the gap?
Set is as follows:
Driver - 10.5 degree;s, 460 cc
3 wood - 15 degrees
4 wood - 17 degrees
3 hybrid - 23 degrees
Irons, 4-pw
Attack wedge - 64 degrees flop.
Is this a versatile set? Or could I come unstuck on the course because there are some gaps in loft etc.
Thanks.
