Open Question: Looking for a job any suggestions?
I am a 17 year old guy and am looking for a job I work at a country club during golf season but since that has ended i no longer have ajob but i still have to pay for gas and insurence and am buyong a new car so i am going to be pretty broke i was looking at a local car dealership because they had a help wanted sign out fo a lot atttendant but a buddy of mine said that it sucks and all you really dfo is shovel snow from between cars i mean i guess i could do dishes at a local restraunt but i kinda like being outside any other suggestions ??????

Resolved Question: How to deal with constant stealing?
My brother has been stealing the money he started watching psychological thrillers and a couple prosecutors called him smart bc they were trying to get smthg out of him and he didn’t let them. and now he thinks he’s some kind of psychologist. , he doesn’t have a job and said is going to start next month. He got trapped in bad company w druggies and now whenever he sees money he takes it. Like he’s doing a good deed. I used to give him $20 out of every paycheck bc he said he wud give it backk but it just started to build up. And I noticed he asked everyone for money. He sold my ipod he’s been selling every expensive thing like a camera a golf bag and even the xbox. My parents are fed up of this they don’t know how to handle him. If they say something he would say the worst thing back to them like heartbreaking things just to defend himself and never feels ashamed of anything. What is he doing with that money he never gets gas in his car and never has minutes in his cell yet he says that he used that money for gas or cell ph, which is out of service. Why is he crossing the limits. Anyone out there knows what 22 year olds do in this situtation? my parents get real mad when he talks back to extreme hich results in more arguments. What should we do?

President of the French Club, treasurer of International Students Organization, debate team, electronics club, chess club, key club, golf team. I do karate, play guitar, sing, volunteer at my library and i volunteer at my local barber shop.
My 2 reach schools are Princeton and University of Pennsylvania. Two back up schools of mine are NYU and Rutgers. Do you think i have a chance of getting in any of these schools?

I´m sure you´ll agree that if we polled people about his favourite sport, they would say football,basqueball and volleyball. However, if I was polled, I would say golf. I know that it isn´t such as popular sport but there is something neat about it, I mean, you can play golf while you´re gazing at the landscape.
Firstly, you´re wondering why it´s my fave sport, so I won´t give baseless reasons such as ?I think that It´s the best sport in the world? or something like that. I enjoy playing golf because it´s a wonderful way to relax if you have a bad day or you have a redneck agenda. In fact you can live longer if you play this sport which is as healthful as others sports.
In addition to this, you can play golf more easily that you thought. People always believe that golf is only for the wealthy ones but it´s just a hoax. Don´t believe this nonsense, you can get good equipment which is low in price.The equipment that is required are golf clubs like woods,irons,hybrids and putters. Also you have to wear golf shoes and you aren´t allow to wear jeans.
It seems to me that golf is amazing and it can be played by anyone. You don´t have to have specials skills and golf´s equipment is cheap, so why on earth are you waiting for? It will be a charming and unforgettable experience.

Another view of me at the driving range, hitting balls with bare feet…I can recommend it, even the great Sam Snead advised it. Being barefoot, you have to swing in a smooth and controlled way, as your bare soles have little grip compared to shoes. You can feel the ground, how your feet are moving and where your weight is during the swing…the club feels longer, as you are shorter with no shoes on…I hit a few hooks to begin with. You can really notice the difference when you put your shoes back on. Try hitting a few balls with bare feet, maybe 10, with a range of clubs….here, I hit a few 9 iron shots, then 3 wood shots, all completely barefoot . I am around a 12 handicap

Open Question: Can you build calf muscles while playing basketball?
I have been playing basketball since I was little but it wasn’t until about my junior year of high school that I got serious about dunking. Of course I wanted the goal too fast and I started trying to dunk before actually training to dunk. So I basically gave up after the school year ended and spent the summer working on my shot instead and light lifting.
When my senior year came around I was still focused on my shot but I happened to be really good at blocking. I was in the top 10 for the conference in blocks and that was when I realized my vertical had increased. So once the season was over I began attempting to dunk again and I was really close but I still didn’t have everything I needed. One day I was trying to impress some people in the gym while I was shooting hoops and went overboard with trying to dunk it. I ended up straining my hip and I wasn’t able to walk very well for 3 days. A few days later when I was finally able to start shooting again I noticed I had put myself back a few weeks. So after golf season was done I spent the rest of my summer before college working on my vertical and dunk.
Now the hoop at my house is only 9′8″ and I had never been able to dunk on it before. But towards the beginning of the summer I got my first dunk on it. I made sure not to try and over do it again like last time so I went slow with trying to dunk. I would start my day out with lowering the hoop to 8′8″ and dunking on that. Then I would raise it to 9′2″ and then finally get to 9′8″. Around the middle of the summer I could dunk on 9′8″ pretty easy. I could usually make about 75% of my dunks. Then one day at the school I tried it on a 10 foot one and I think I got it on the first or second try but I was very tired after that, that I was only able to get one to go down.
I kept practicing all summer making my dunking more and more consistent. I still couldn’t do it on a 10 foot hoop easy but usually could if I was warmed up and not too tired. Now in college I play about 1-3 hours of basketball a day. I do light leg lifting once a week and that’s it. There is a no dunking rule so I haven’t been able to practice dunking. Well last week I came home and decided to go outside and shoot some hoops. At 9′8″ I can dunk it easy, I was throwing myself ali oops and all sorts of cool dunks. I know I haven’t been lifting that hard so I was wondering if it is all this basketball that I am playing that has skyrocketed my vertical or if it’s just because my muscles haven’t fully developed yet and are in the process of growing. My dad always said I was a late bloomer and expected me to dunk it one day. I can touch the rim really easily now and everytime I try dunking it I’m always tired and can’t find the strength and energy to get the ball to go through the rim. The basic question is, is it my growing? my light lifting? all these hours of basketball? or are all a factor?

Hi! MY name is Casper! I am in 8th grade. In science, we have a really hard project, and I am stumped. You have to create something that will float for 5 seconds, sink 16 inches, then float back up. It can be no larger than a shoe box. We cant use a funnel or a golf ball. We cant contaminate the water. And we cant touch it while it is in the water. We have 3 minutes to do this.
