Open Question: What should I bring for my 13 mile walk?
It’s called the bowline walk. Basically, my school makes us do it every year. Here’s some facts:
It’s in the countryside (do you know bradgate park and beacon hill, leicester)
I’m a 13 year old girl - I’ll be almost 14 then.
It’s around September time but its always a warm day.
It’s up and down 3 hill + a golf course.
I’ve done it twice before - but it went seriously wrong and I want my last one to hurt less.
I have a few questions:
-What food should I bring(I’m thinking banana for the start, apple for the end and sweeties in between)
-What trousers should I bring? (Probs tracksuit - but I’d rather bring those 3/4 joggers with the elastic at the bottom - where can I get those?)
-Should I bring a jacket?(it’s extra weight but might come in handy)
-What colour/material t-shirts don’t show up sweat?
-Deodorant? (I think I should bring this - mini-spay or roll on?)
-What drinks + how many? (at least one diet coke)
-A hat?
-A brollie?
-What shoes should I wear? (not walking boots - trainers?I’d love to wear Converse - but I think I might hurt my feet)
-Spare socks?
-Should I listen to the radio(Greg James will be on then - I’m a fan) but there might not be any reception there, I might bring charlieissocoollike’s album.

-Any other tips?
