Billy I asked:

I’m just starting to get into golfing and love it. All my other golfin buddies have their club sets and do-dads but me……I’m stuck renting a set everywhere I go. So my question is what golf club set should I get under a $300 (maybe $350) budget? I’ve already gone online and mostly see Golden Bear and Ram sets for under $300 (good brands?). My other question is should I get the set with the bag? Or get a set and get my own cheaper bag to hold my clubs later? Anything will help, Thanks

if you only wanna spend that much, you’ll be pinchin pennies

golden bear and ram are okay brands

you mite be better off going to a golf store and buyin a set of used clubs for about 200

since its your first set you’ll be fine playin with used clubs. i did it for 5 years and then finally got the new clubs i have now
